NEW 52

I have set myself a fun project for 2013 inspired by my wonder-full creative community on line, I started in May 2013. I'm going to do one new thing each week of the year. It can be something small or something large. I might travel to a new neighbourhood or a new country. I might try a new recipe or a new kind of wine. I might explore a new language or try a new instrument...



Week 1 (May 1), I started to learn knitting and bought 1st ever yarn, so excited to learn something new!
First Yarn in my life
Week 2 (May 8), I learnt how to make a bread by my bread machine. (It might be easy for most of the people but I really enjoyed it! )
I made my YUM breakfast the next morning
Week 3 (May 15), I learnt how to make a crêpe!



Delish
Week 4 (May 22), I picked up a new song by guitar. 


Chez moi
Week 5 ( May 29), I learnt how to make a mojito & I finished my first ever fingerless glove ( Not bad actually)!


Such a great choice for the coming summer
My 1st ever crochet --> my dearest maman! Hope them keep your hands warm all the winters! 
Week 6 ( Jun 5), I learnt how to make the Australia pasta & started to learn double crochet.
Still wonder why it's called Australia pasta?
This glove is for ME! 
Week 7 (Jun 12), I made my 1st. ever Tiramisu!!


I'm pretty sure it's gnb DELISH! 
Week 8 ( Jun 19) Bacon and egg Soaghetti 

Week 9 (Jun 26), I finished my 2nd fingerless glove (double crochet)
This one is for me ! 
Week 10 ( Jul 3) 
??

Week 11 (Jul 10), Learnt how to make Chilled Mango& Pomelo Dessert 
Serve it chilled!

Week 12 (Jul 17) I am learning Crochet Flower Pattern 


In the past 12 weeks, I find that I absolutely love cooking with friends. I chop, they stirs and we connect at the end of our day, sharing thoughts and laughter and good food. We experiment together, laugh together, make a mess together and then clean up together! 
I do love food, but what I really love is the shared experience of food.  Creating, talking, experimenting, exploring, sharing, tasting, all of that great stuff is a part of what makes food so nourishing.


I wonder what I’ll get up to next week?
How about this? ( I wish I can find all of the ingredients on Taobao! ) 
Spiced Hot Chocolate (from Body & Soul magazine)
1 quart soy milk (we used 1% milk)
6 ounces dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 to 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/8 tsp ground cayenne
1/8 tsp coarse salt
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and whick over medium-low heat until the chocolate hs melted completely and the mixture is steaming hot, about 5 minutes.
